Hello Friends this month for my this blog I have decides Every day I will Write about some Famous Bed Stories that a mother can tell their Childen. So what better than to start with some famous Panchatantra  stories.

We all have grown up by hearing these stories from our grandparents. These all stories have moral in them. But in this era in metros or big cities children are grown by maids as mom and dad are working. These children met their mom dad only in evening. So at the bed times at least mom can recite these short bed stories to their small one.

Panchatantra is a Sanskrit word which means "Five principles." The original Sanskrit text of "Panchatantra" was written by Pandit Vishnu Sharma

The Panchatantra stories are fables based mostly on animals which always end with a moral. The Panchatantra is the oldest collection of Indian fables surviving today. Panchatantra, consists of five books of animal fables and magic tales. Each of these stories have a moral that continues to be relevant to this day. The five principles are :

  1. The Loss of Friends
  2. Gaining Friends
  3. Causing Dissension Between Friends
  4. Separation
  5. Union

SAKAT CHAUTH VRAT KATHA

Sankata-haaraa Chaturthi falls every month on the Chauth (fourth day) after Poornima (Full Moon day) means it is Krihna Paksh Chaturthee. Sankat means trouble, an Haaraa means to take it off. So by keeping fast on this day all kinds of problems are removed. This year Shakat chouth Vrat is on 12th JANUARY, 2012.
