Dedicated to All Wonderful women-The homemakers

Wonderful women-The homemakers

Just read this Status on one of my Friend Facebook Status. I really loved it and thought this thought or Poem or Poetry is really worth sharing.
It truly reminds us of our Childhood days. Really by reading this we can easily say that Time has changed a lot. The day wen we were small, were really unforgettable days.

Now really people on our Bday just post on Facebook and wish us a Happy B'DAy. We people have hardly time for each other.
Its really touching.

The Club 99

The CLUB 99

Just read the following story that was posted in my friend's timeline. I really liked and thought of sharing with all.

Once upon a time, there lived a King who, despite his luxurious lifestyle, was neither happy nor content.

One day, the King came upon a servant who was singing happily while he worked. This fascinated the King; why was he, the Supreme Ruler of the Land, unhappy and gloomy, while a lowly servant had so much joy.

The King asked the servant, 'Why are you so happy?'

The man replied, 'Your Majesty, I am nothing but a servant, but my family and I don't need too much - just a roof over our heads and warm food to fill our tummies.'

The king was not satisfied with that reply. Later in the day, he sought the advice of his most trusted advisor. After hearing the King's woes and the servant's story, the advisor said, 'Your Majesty, I believe that the servant Has not been made part of The 99 Club.'

'The 99 Club? And what exactly is that?' the King inquired.

The advisor replied, 'Your Majesty, to truly know what The 99 Club is, place 99 Gold coins in a bag and leave it at this servant's doorstep.'

When the servant saw the bag, he took it into his house. When he opened the bag, he let out a great shout of joy... So many gold coins!

He began to count them. After several counts, he was at last convinced that there were 99 coins. He wondered, 'What could've happened to that last gold coin? Surely, no one would leave 99 coins!'

He looked everywhere he could, but that final coin was elusive. Finally, exhausted he decided that he was going to have to work harder than ever to earn that gold coin and complete his collection.

From that day, the servant's life was changed. He was overworked, horribly grumpy, and castigated his family for not helping him make that 100th gold coin. He stopped singing while he worked.

Witnessing this drastic transformation, the King was puzzled. When he sought his advisor's help, the advisor said, 'Your Majesty, the servant has now officially joined The 99 Club.'

He continued, 'The 99 Club is a name given to those people who have enough to be happy but are never contented, because they're always yearning and Striving for that extra 1, saying to themselves: 'Let me get that one final thing and then I will be happy for life.' We can be happy, even with very little in our lives, but the minute we're given something bigger and better, we want even more! We lose our sleep, our happiness, we hurt the people around us; all these as a price for our growing needs and desires.

That's the "Club 99"

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

Daddy's Little Girl

As I look back to see
I remember times spent on your knee

When it came to my biggest fears
you came along to wipe away my tears
But as years started rushing by
I'll have to say with a sigh

You needed me just as bad
and those times were so sad

But now we're a family once more
and I know there's so much in store

You always seem to know when I need a smile
especially when you haven't seen one in a while

We seem to always be on the same page
even though there's a big difference in age

We know how to make each other laugh
and it makes time fly past

Daddy thats why I'm so thankful for you
I would never ask for anyone new

I love you so very much
because you help me with all my problems and such

I know you wish you could give me the world
but I'm proud enough with my title
"Daddy's Little Girl"

Mumbai Life

Mumbai

Mumbai as we all know is called as “City of Dreams”.  I have heard a lot about Mumbai but never Visited. Except me all my family members have visited Mumbai. Due to this I was more excited to vist and see Mumbai. When my marriage was fixed and I heard my fiancé is working in Mumbai, I was very happy coz I thought now atleast I can visit Mumbai. But my hope and dream were shattered when my Husband got an Opportunity in Infosys for Pune Location. But he asked the company his Preferred location as Bangalore so that I don’t have to change my work.
So after coming to Bangalore he was not liking Bangalore. You tell me who will love Bangalore if he stays 6 Years in Mumbai. So this Year during Diwali we both were having 1 week Holiday as my hubby was missing Mumbai. So we decided to go Mumbai during that Period.

To my surprise I reaaly loevd Mumabi. For Mumbai people says” It fulfills everyone.s dream and accepts everyone with open arms”. I had stayed in Mumbai only for 5 days but I loved the place. Few things that I noticed about this city want to share with you all:

1)      Place you stay: has to be as close to your office as possible. Coz if its not there we can  land up spending a lot of time commuting.
2)      Size of houses: we had stayed in Mumbai in his friend home. It was 1 BHK But it was too small. You cant have extra furniture
3)      House Rent: House rents are huge in Mumbai. The rent for 2 BHK what we pay in Bangalore in Mumbai we pay for 1 BHK.
4)      The city is divided vertically : Mumbai is divided into Western Mumbai, Central Mumbai and Eastern Mumbai.
5)      The city does not sleep : In Bangalore or Delhi I have found that staff in hotels, pubs, malls are closed by 11:00 A.M. and people enjoyed their stay in home. But in Mumbai people step out for shopping at 11:00 P.M. in the night
6)      Drinking/Eating places may not actually be very expensive Unlike a Bangalore and Delhi where mostly restaurants, which are quite expensive. In Mumbai food is reasonably priced
7)      Safety: As Comparison to Delhi , Mumbai is much safe for girls. I have found many womens and girls traveling alone in Locals at 12:00 midnight

You know you’re in Bangalore when

Hi Friends,

Just got a mail from one of my friends few days back. so thought of sharing with you all. Its a worth reading and hope you all will like this. Please do comment how you feel about it.

  • You actually think 30Rs for a Dosa is pretty reasonable.
  • when you spent 8 hours of your day in Office and another 3 hours to reach home.
  • You cant drive for more than 10 mins without abusing someone
  • The temperature touches 37.5 degrees and everyone starts panicking and journalists start yelling, “Lead story” “Lead story” “Lead story”…
  • In the evening, the temperature drops a few degrees below normal and suddenly everyone is armed with sweaters and jackets.
  • There is always one 'pan-wala' on the corner of street
  • The first thing that you read in the Times of India is the "Bangalore Times" supplement.
  • he most frequently used part of your car is the horn.
  • After you return from a trip to Mumbai, you wonder why everything is suddenly in slow motion.
  • Only in Bangalore , you would get Chinese Dosa and Jain Chicken.
  • You still refer to the city as Bangalore not Bengaluru.
  • Every three months you look at your street and say "Why're the digging the road again?"
  • You drive up a busy flyover and have to suddenly screech your brakes. There’s a red light at the very top! What the…
  • You never learnt how to stand in a queue
  • when u r stuck in traffic even at 1:30 a.m
  • In the apartment where you live, there isn’t a single floor, which doesn’t have at least one IT wallah.
  • There are more Pubs,Malls and Movie Halls than anywhere in India
  • There are more IT Companies in the City than hair on your head.
  • Every second article in the local pages of your newspaper has the word “infrastructure” in it.
  • When you go out for lunch, the sun is shining and the sky is blue with not a fleck of cloud. And yet by the time you’re leaving office, there’s a massive traffic jam because the roads are flooded after a torrential downpour and the sky is clear again!
  • You have a swank fine dining restaurant buffet and think it’s incomplete because there’s no curd rice.
  • You spend more time each month traveling than you spend at home
  • You keep telling everyone that your city is the fastest growing in Asia (or India) though you’ve never ever seen any statistics in support of that.
  • No matter how many malls, arcades and shopping complexes open in your area; you still end up going to MG Road every now and then.
  • You are told that your city’s Metro will be ready in 2011 and you just can’t stop laughing.
  • When you return from Delhi, you think the autowallahs are sweet. When you return from Mumbai, you think the autowallahs are thugs.
  • One day you’re traveling in a crowded stinking bus and the very next day you’re in a high-tech AC Volvo at the very same time on the very same route.
  • You try to imagine your city without pubs and… you just can’t!
  • Your door has more than three locks.

bas ek bar wapas lautne ka man karta hai

The following lines are not my creations....was introduced to me by one of my friend through a mail. These lines really me of my MBA days at Sikkim where I used to have a lot of fun with my Friends. Reading these lines took me to 4 years back past. I Love my college, my friends, my teachers and at this point of time I am missing you all. I cherish that i can go back to my collage days and relive the moments once again.

bas ek bar wapas lautne ka man karta hai

Aaj har wo baat yaad aati hai

kuch buri batein jo ab acchi lagti hain

kuch batein jo kal ki hi batein lagti hain

abki baar class attend karne ka man karta hai

Dopahar ki class mein aakhen band karne ka man karta hai

hostel ke chat ki wo raat yaad aati hai

exam ke time pe wo hasi mazak bahut pyari lagti hai

tab ki bekar lagne wali photo's chehre pe hasi laati hai

Ek aisi subah uthne ka man karta hai

bas ek bar wapas lautne ka man karta hai

bas ek bar aur

wapas lautne ka man karta hai

Water Falls of Ranchi

Hello Friends,

Today i am thinking of my childhood days. The time that i spent in Ranchi are so memorable. Today i want to say you all something about Ranchi, the place where i grown up and spent most memeorable life of my life.

Ranchi as we all know is the Capital of Jharkhand and was formed on 15 November 2000. I can also call Ranchi, as city of Water falls and lakes.Ranchi has various water falls such as:

  • Hundru Falls : The Hundru falls is located at a distance of 45 kilometers from the main city of Ranchi. It is the most beautiful fall of this place. This waterfall is located on the course of the Subarnarekha River, where the river falls from a height of 320 feet. The Swarnarekha river falls from a height of 320 feet making a wonderful scene known as Hundru falls.

  • Jonha Falls : The Johna falls is also known by the name of Gautamdhara. This waterfall is situated at a distance of 40 kilometers from Ranchi. There is a rest house for the tourists containing a temple of Buddha. The road leading to Jonha is a bit narrow but not so rough.

  • Dassam falls: This fall is considered to be most popular tourist attractions located in the city,The Dassam falls is formed by the Kanchi River falling from a height of 144 feet. This waterfall is situated on the Ranchi-Tata road close to the village of Taimara, located at a distance of 34 kilometers away from the city

  • Panch Gagh falls: The Panch Gagh Falls lies on the Ranchi-Chakradharpur road at a distance of only 6 kilometers from Khunti. This waterfall consist of five streams

  • Hirni falls: About 70 km. From Ranchi on way to Chakradharpur is located Hirni Falls. Having situated amidst dense forest Hirni has been favoured by nature for scenic beauties. The tourists are carried away by emotions and flight of imagination while observing Hirni.

All these falls are considered to be most popular tourist attractions located in the city. I have special memories for all these falls when we used to visit these places in my childhood. Writing about these falls reminds me about yhe fun fun that we used to have when we visited these places for picnics during new year and summer holiday.

MISS U RANCHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
