  • Jonha Falls : The Johna falls is also known by the name of Gautamdhara. This waterfall is situated at a distance of 40 kilometers from Ranchi. There is a rest house for the tourists containing a temple of Buddha. The road leading to Jonha is a bit narrow but not so rough.

  • Dassam falls: This fall is considered to be most popular tourist attractions located in the city,The Dassam falls is formed by the Kanchi River falling from a height of 144 feet. This waterfall is situated on the Ranchi-Tata road close to the village of Taimara, located at a distance of 34 kilometers away from the city

  • Panch Gagh falls: The Panch Gagh Falls lies on the Ranchi-Chakradharpur road at a distance of only 6 kilometers from Khunti. This waterfall consist of five streams

  • Hirni falls: About 70 km. From Ranchi on way to Chakradharpur is located Hirni Falls. Having situated amidst dense forest Hirni has been favoured by nature for scenic beauties. The tourists are carried away by emotions and flight of imagination while observing Hirni.

All these falls are considered to be most popular tourist attractions located in the city. I have special memories for all these falls when we used to visit these places in my childhood.
